Here I am back in Florida. This time as an instructor at Aircrew School. My leg has healed-up nicely and

E-6 OIF part 2

Here I am again. I'm back in the box. I thought once was enough. But, better me than somebody with a family at home. I am getting used to this. I cought some shrapnell in the leg and they are sending me to Gemany and then back Stateside. This isn't he way I wanted to go home but, I'll take it. 

E-5

I am back from Iraq and in North Island. That was a long 10 months in the box and I am glad to be home. I am happy for everything I have now. I feel like an old man. My body creaks like an old barn door every time I move.

OIF

We got deployed to Iraq. I hate it here !!! If it wasn't for my guys I would go crazy. I've had to do things that I really didn't like. I just hope this will be over soon.

E-4 continued

I am here in my first command. I am in the process of getting to know the guys I am going to be crewing with. Prices out here are super expensive. I am going to have to find some roomates if I want to move out of the barracks. I am fitting in ok, I guess. Everyone has been fairly nice to me even as the FNG (fu**ing new guy). They are starting to trust me and I am starting to trust them.

E-3 through E-4

I am here in Pensacola, Florida for Air Crew Candidate School.  I am super excited to be here in the warm weather and being close to the beach. I bunch of my friends from Great Lakes came here with me. We are waiting to be able to leave base.  So far it has not been real tough. This base is huge though. The mental part of the school work is fairly challenging, but not nearly as rough as the physical portion of the school. They have us doing stuff that is pushing me to my breaking point. (I love it !!!) I just hope I get a good duty station once I graduate.

E-1 through E-3 (bootcamp)

 RTC Great Lakes, IL. This is the beginning of my military life. I am not sure what I have gotten myself into. I am surrounded by young men from all over the nation. Will I be able to make it? Most of these guys I am here with are nothing like me. Nothing against any of them but, I don't know if I will have anything in common with them. As time goes on I have gelled with a few guys and think that this isn't the worst thing in the world. Life here is tough but we can make it through it together.
